Course for medics

Social Media Blueprint For Doctors

Welcome to taking the FIRST step in exploring what else you can do with your medical expertise.

What is easy for you as a doctor is completely foreign to others. Therefore, YOU have a HUGE head start and opportunity to make a real impact on social media by teaching and giving advice.

My beginnings as Tech Me Doc

When I first started making videos it was for my new solo practice.  My intention was to get more patients. In October 2022 I decided that I was going to make 1 video and put it on all the platforms for 30 days straight.  I knew nothing about making and posting videos, and even less about social media.  My idea was that if I did that, then I could quit in 30 days and say I tried.

The process was uncomfortable, embarrassing and overall painful.  Often, I felt like I was talking to myself. Sounds like all your fears, right?

But a funny thing started to happen…people were *actually* watching my videos AND I was starting to get patients!

The discomfort and embarrassment dissolved and were replaced by excitement and intrigue. I started to learn what worked, what to use, and (surprisingly to me) how to make money from it.

YES!  There ARE ways you can diversify your streams of income from the followers you amass!

Teach Me Doc will help you…

The course I have created accelerates the process of what I went through and learned. It is a step-by-step guided process where you are held accountable and in a small group setting.  The community is one of the best parts so that you don’t have to go through it alone and are supported every step.

What will I learn in this course:

  • How to set up and make social media accounts.
  • What equipment to use
  • How to record and edit videos.
  • How to effectively build content.
  • How to multipurpose the content you build.
  • What to say and how to say it.
  • How to react to the comments.
  • Other avenues to diversify income.
  • How to build an email newsletter.
  • How to capture and maintain attention.
  • How to outsource small tasks like editing.
Specifics to each social media platform.
  • EVERYTHING I have learned up to this point (continues to evolve).

How does it work?

By being part of Social Media Blueprint For Doctors you will have access to:

  • 10-week course (9/10/2023 to 11/19/2023)
  • Bi-weekly group zoom meeting live lectures (usually Sundays)
  • Weekly personalized analytics and stats
  • Weekly homework
  • Library of step-by-step videos on how to film, edit and create accounts
  • Group WhatsApp chat
  • Max of 10 participants total to maintain a small group feel

What is the investment value to participate in the course?

In total, all of this could cost upwards of $20,100 if purchased separately, plus for custom feedback, statistics, and keeping the group small, this could be a very expensive course.

However, because I want to train all doctors so that they can take advantage of their experience, I will keep the price of the course low. If you sign up before September 1, 2023, I’ll drop the price to $2500 and send you bonus mystery loot.

Who teaches?

I am Karina Canadas, MD, also known as Teach Me Doc. I became “Teach Me Doc” in October 2022.  I quit my big academic medicine job in May 2022 after experiencing burn out and opened my own clinic soon after.  In the process of figuring out how to reach more patients, I started making patient education videos on social media and found I was really enjoying it!

And so, Teach Me Doc was born.
